This is the official statement from Atsu's Hatayspor club read by the founder of the Crime Check Foundation of Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng.  Information is inferred from CCTV footage recorded on the morning of the incident.  Ghanaian and Hatayspor winger Christian Atsu is believed to have left his building before it collapsed on the morning of the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that hit Syria and Turkey on Monday, February 6, 2023.  Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng revealed on the official YouTube channel of the Criminal Investigation Organization got an official statement from Atsu's Hatayspor club, confirmed by pre-recorded CCTV footage earthquake.    According to the statement read out by Ibrahim, Atsu was out of his apartment building before it collapsed.     Ibrahim said the puzzling thing now is whether he was able to get out 20 minutes before the building collapsed and where exactly he is at the moment.
