This year celebrated the 5th edition of the prestigious award show that honors the honorable entertainers in Ghana, Africa, and the Diaspora. The occasion co-operated with the Ghanaian and African communities in the diaspora, commemorating renowned entertainers hailing from Ghana.

Shock in Diaso: Jealous Boyfriend Launches Brutal Machete Attack on 18-Year-Old Okada Rider

A young commercial motorcycle (okada) rider is fighting for his life after a brutal machete attack in Diaso, in the Central Region. ​The 18-year-old victim, whose identity has been withheld, was allegedly assaulted by a jealous boyfriend in broad daylight. ​ According to preliminary reports, the horrifying incident stemmed from a simple, momentary interaction. The suspect's girlfriend reportedly sat on the young rider's lap, triggering an extreme and immediate fit of rage from her partner. ​ Confronted by the boyfriend, the okada rider was quickly surrounded and attacked.
