Camidoh misses out on Best New International Act award to Libianca

Camidoh, an artist from Ghana, was recently eliminated from the 2023 BET Viewers' Choice: Best New Global Demonstration grant.


Along with Asake, FLO, Libianca, Maureen, MC Ryan SP, Paris Cooper, Raye, and Wereno, the talented Cameroonian singer/songwriter Libianca Camidoh was nominated for the award.


Even though Camidoh may not have won, West Africa stood out at the prestigious international award ceremony.


At the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, the audience was particularly captivated by Nigerian singer Davido's electrifying performance. The DMW Boss had the audience bouncing and streaming as he performed a medley of his chart-topping singles "Feel" and "Unavailable" from his most recent album, "Timeless."

Along with Asake, FLO, Libianca, Maureen, MC Ryan SP, Paris Cooper, Raye, and Wereno, Camidoh was nominated.
