  • The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Krachi East in the Oti Region, Francis Kofi Okesu, has been found dead in a lodging in Kumasi.
  • Police found his body in a recumbent situation in bed stripped with his left arm hanging next to the bed on Sunday.

  • A cautious assessment of the body by wellbeing experts tracked down no characteristics of brutality.

  • Police sources say they have directed an inquiry of the room yet have found nothing implicating up until this point.
  • The Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah, Municipal Chief Executive of Oforikrom, Abraham Antwi, and other security agents have been to the scene.
  • The body has been kept at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue for safeguarding and examination.
