The Treasury Secretary was due to appear before the House of Representatives last Thursday, June 16, 2022, to brief the House on the government's COVID-19 spending and answer 16 questions put forward by Members of Parliament (MPs) regarding his Ministry, but he has been unable to do so due to circumstances beyond his control.

Majority Leader and Head of Government Affairs in Parliament Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu made the announcement last Friday, June 17, 2022, when presenting this week's business statement.
