How an iPhone Saved the Life of a Man Called a Burna Boy Police Escort.

But for the device in his pocket, the bullets fired by the police escort of Nigerian music star, Damini Ebonulwa Ogulu, aka Burna Boy, could have resulted in death.

This is according to a cheerful student who recounted how his friends were attacked by a police escort of the artist after an altercation at Club Cubana in Victoria I sland, Lagos
The fun-seeker said in a tweet under the name @Theflowolf, that the doctor who came to his friend said if it wasn't for the iPhone in his pocket, the bullet would have pierced his friend's leg and caused his death.

He recounted how two of his victims' friends came to Nigeria from UK and US to attend a wedding before the unfortunate incident occurred.

I I can't even tweet what Burna Boy did to my buddies at Club Cubana yesterday because I still can't believe it.

My companions came to 9ja from England and USA in a row 4 for a wedding. I invited Dimpana to the Cubana club, where a petty quarrel arose with the men of Burna Boy (like a woman), and the next thing the bullets began to fly. One was shot in the head and the other was hit in the leg.

When we rushed him to the Naval Medical Center they said they had no blood and he needed 3 pints of O+ blood, they said none of us could donate because we were drinking from the club and then my friend started shaking on the hospital bed like he was losing his life.

2 Then the good Samaritan soldiers offered to offer a pint of blood, each of which was then used to stabilize it. The doctor said the iPhone in his pocket pierced by the bullet slowed the bullet down making it less lethal, and the iPhone saved his life.”
The Daily Trust reports that the Grammy winner has been in the news since the accident on Wednesday.

However, he ignored the development, tweeting about various things on social media.

On Friday, Burna Boy tweeted an emoji in response to a fan who said he couldn't wait to drop a song in three weeks.

In response to another fan, Burna Boy tweeted a link to "Last Last," one of his songs.

On the other hand, the Lagos State Police Command has arrested five policemen attached to the singer, on charges of attempted murder.

The Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hunden, confirmed their arrest to the Daily Trust.
