Funny enough, this claim is directly contradicted by an old Afia Schwar video in which he said he turned down Wontumi when he tried to go out with her.

Big Akwes Claims Kumasi is the "Scam Academy" - Is He Joking?

Big Akwes, a popular Ghanaian Kumawood actor, recently stirred up controversy by claiming that people born and raised in Kumasi are inherently scammers.  In an interview on Angel TV, he suggested that individuals in Kumasi, from leaders to average citizens, even pastors, are engaged in fraudulent activities.  "Everyone born and raised in Kumasi is a scammer; I firmly believe that.
