If Castro hadn't passed away, Mzbel believes he'd be in the same league as Burna Boy.

Mzbel recently made a unique comparison between the late Ghanaian hip-hop musician, Castro, and the rising Nigerian star, Burna Boy.

She expressed her belief that if Castro were still alive, he would have achieved the same level of popularity and success worldwide as Burna Boy. This statement was made during an interview with Kingdom FM.

Castro, whose real name was Theophilus Tagoe, was a versatile performer known for captivating audiences with his exceptional musical talent and remarkable stage presence.

Tragically, he lost his life in a jet ski accident in the Ada Estuary in 2014, along with Miss Janet Bandu. Despite their bodies never being found, Castro's legacy lives on, and Mzbel firmly believes he could have followed a similar path to Burna Boy's rise to fame in the music industry.

Mzbel also emphasized Castro's unparalleled originality and unwavering dedication to his craft. She confidently asserted, "He would have been just like Burna Boy."

Mzbel fondly recalled her own experiences working with the late singer, describing him as the finest artist she had ever collaborated with.

She highlighted his tireless work ethic, his penchant for experimentation, and his unique qualities, including his stage presence and vocal range.

Mzbel boldly claimed, "Ghanaians would have had our own Burna Boy if he were still alive."
