“ When the stealer is poverty-stricken ” – Afia Schwarzenegger reacts to NAM1 GHS650 verification process to clients

Ghanaian Actress , Afia Schwarzenegger has replied to recent advertisement made by Nam1, the CEO of Menzgold, regarding the demand of GHS650 for sale verification.


On Friday August 18, Menzgold Ghana issued a statement with the theme “ Get Verified And Get Donated ” introducing a fresh client confirmation process to help release finances for guests with locked accounts.   

The company asks guests to buy a GHS650 Digital Verification Access Card to corroborate deals which touched off responses among Ghanaians particularly the displeased guests 



However, in her usual candid and humorous manner, Afia Schwarzenegger commented on the situation, saying, “When a thief is broke.”

Her social media post reflects the dubitation and lack of trust that people have due to the company’s history.    

The advertisement of the GHS650 payment for sale verification has reignited conversations about Menzgold’s character and responsibility.   

Afia Schwarzenegger’s response resonates with those who remain conservative due to the company’s former difficulties. By adding humor to her comment, she highlights the moping apprehension within the former Menzgold guests and the general public.

Sharing her viewpoint on this widely discussed issue, Afia Schwarzenegger described it as “the return of a broke thief.”

She expressed sadness over the situation, suggesting that some Ghanaians might still fall for it. “The title of the movie is “When a thief is broke” and the sad ending of the story is Stilll some Ghanaians will fall for this!!!!! Eiiiiiii Mo bi nom adwene ne mu emr3 oooo” – she remarked
