Popular Ghanaian musician/socialite Showboy is set to be deported back to Ghana.

After serving four years in prison for stabbing a friend, the well-known musician and socialite from Ghana known as Showboy, Sam Safo, is said to be being deported to Ghana.

Showboy stated on Instagram yesterday that he wanted to be in Ghana when he announced his release from prison today, June 7.

"Follow my new snap visit Ahantan. I wished I were in Ghana, haha. Anyway, tomorrow, June 7, 2023, will mark my release—my last night behind bars!

Showboy was condemned to serve six years in jail in Walk 2019 for cutting Junior US, a US based Ghanaian performer during a tussle.

In 2021, Junior US was robbed and killed after surviving the stabbing.

Numerous individuals claimed that Showboy's "men" were responsible for Junior's death at the time, but this was refuted when the real perpetrators were later apprehended by the US Police.

Showboy had a decent connection with Criss Waddle
Despite the fact that Showboy was in confinement, he was very dynamic via online entertainment giving subtleties of his life and occasions prompting his detainment.

He accused Criss Waddle, the co-founder of the AMG Record label, of setting him up in one of his posts from last year.
“My life hasn't been the same since Criss Waddle sent junior us to my house (apartment) five years ago. They set me up. July 3,2016 . I always remember this day. U can peruse the assertion and see the falsehoods they told police, came to court and denied all that and said they terrified of me,"

"Told court am a Gunsta .. examiner let me know I got a Colossal Inner self and said I call the shot .. I was profiled .. if not Criss Waddle sending Junior to me to come pay me cash he Criss Waddle owed ..this never planned to occur .. Junior us was never my companion. That was Criss Waddle companion that detested on me out of desire .. I was set up by Criss Waddle and his companions. That is the reality: Criss Waddle has not yet paid me a visit. haven't seen him in five years,” he wrote back then.

In a post on Facebook in April of this year, Showboy may have hinted at his deportation.

Maybe, Showboy gave a sprinkle of his extradition in April this year in a Facebook post.

He declared, "Dem want deport me..a make sad rough." a taya forever ... if a come Ghana too Boyz need beat me particularly criss waddle and shatta rib in companions haha .... make a sign for removal or sit for one more 1yr or 2 for movement detainment to battle for mama stay despite everything be on 9yrs probation. .. or to simply sign for deportation and face death or happiness in Ghana. I'm stressed and unable to think clearly. Sometimes I think God doesn't like me.

until today. "Being in jail for almost two and a half years now; still depressed; still suffering mentally; I am not innocent; I was attacked first and stabbed myself to defend myself." I did whatever was necessary to survive at the moment because I couldn't control my adrenaline.

They set me up, took away my freedom, and now you're asking why I'm mentally unstable. The answer is that I have no friends, no one to trust, and just fake love all over me.
