Some keen listeners of Nhyira FM took the day off on Saturday to put on aprons to cook for their mothers in the Kumasi train station forecourt.
The Cook for Mum event capped the station's activities for listeners to celebrate the sacrifices made by mothers in their lives.
The subtle scent of delicious meals being prepared in the mini-kitchen permeated the airy environment of the station forecourt, inviting several others to crowd into the premises.
Ten listeners to Nhyira FM were chosen to show their mothers their love by cooking their mother's favorite dishes.
Although not a competition, listeners do their best to cook meals that will melt in their mothers' mouths.
At the end of the event, all ten chefs received souvenirs from the sponsors.
